Workshop Key Emerging Technologies for future Industrial Applications in the framework of the EUROSOI-ULIS Conference in Warsaw on May 12-13th 2025 !

This Workshop will focus on strengthening international cooperation in the area of advanced computing and advanced functionalities, taking into account the heterogeneous integration and the sustainability of these technologies, in order to reinforce the resilience of the European semiconductor ecosystem and value chain by:

– Gathering new information on the recent evolution of the international environment of the semiconductor industry

– Identifying and discussing critical needs for future semiconductor technologies

– Obtaining a prioritized list of technologies that should be supported as key competences in the European Union

– Specifying the strengths and weaknesses of leading semiconductor countries in the semiconductor value chain

– Identifying the most urgent challenges where cooperation with other countries should be initiated or developed

– Proposing recommendations for international research cooperation on emerging semiconductor technologies

– Highlighting the need of new standards for innovative semiconductor technologies
