The next ICOS Workshop “European strengths and gaps in emerging semiconductor technologies” will take place during ESSDERC-ESSCIRC in Lisbon, on September 11-14, 2023 (September 11 afternoon for the Workshop). It is supported by Horizon Europe. The main objectives of this Workshop are: These reviews will allow to highlight the strengths of the main leading Institutions in each country (Universities, RTO, Industry) in each technological area, and will be carried out on the basis of the expertise of ICOS partners and knowledge in this field, on the input of the Roadmap teams for these research activities, on publications and possibly using other supports. This work will contribute to ICOS “Recommendations for international research cooperation” for the European Commission and will be used by the EC for future joint calls between EU and other leading semiconductor countries.
